How to take action in MAPU Association

MAPU Association is a pluralist organization and encourages the participation and appreciates the cooperation of people and other organizations of various fields and origin who share our objectives and philosophy. There are many ways in which you can take action, join or get involved with the MAPU Association’s activities: Members: Through your annual membership fee of 50 €, you will cooperate financing and promoting development projects in Patagonia aimed at fostering a sustainable use of the natural resources and better regional economy. As a member of MAPU Association, you can also actively participate in the various projects. Please complete and send us the Members Registration Form of MAPU Association to become a member. Donations: Your donation to MAPU Association will help us to increase the amount of projects we can develop to promote social development, sustainable ecological balance, and to benefit the most disadvantaged communities of the Patagonia region. You can donate via wire transfer to the MAPU Association bank account. Volunteer Work in Patagonia: If you would like to cooperate and to get to know the MAPU projects personally, then you can volunteer in Patagonia, for which you need to be a volunteer member of MAPU Association. Through your membership fee and a one time payment for the organization of your volunteer placement (50 € membership fee + 200 € one time volunteer placement organization fee), you will not only contribute to financing the Association’s projects, but you will also be able to go on participating in every available volunteer project that fits your profile without having to pay again the volunteer work organization fee. You will be part of the family! Virtual Volunteering: Cooperate with MAPU Association through the Internet by making translations, spreading information about our projects and about the different causes and issues in Patagonia the Association is currently working for, promoting the Association and its activities through its website, helping with members’ recruitment and fundraising, etc. From the comfort of your home there’s a lot you can do!
