One of the objectives of MAPU Association is to organize training and education actions, projects, workshops and programs directed both to children and adults, along with promoting different cultural activities.
International Cooperation with Patagonia( 2 items )
MAPU Association promotes international on-site and virtual volunteer work as a tool for local development and for spreading information about the local issues in Patagonia, as well as the training and orientation of volunteers. Also, as part of the international cooperation, collaboration with other organizations of different parts of the world is fostered.
Projects of the MAPU Association in the Argentinean and Chilean Patagonia related to the protection of the environment, to the sustainable use of the natural resources and to the use of renewable energies.
MAPU Association promotes and cooperates with activities aimed at promoting the Mapuche language and culture, at supporting the communities in their land struggles, etc.
